I made this game with the goal of giving my preschoolers confidence in drawing. How many kids say, “I can’t draw.”?
The point is: If we believe we are creative, we will continue to be creative.
One of my preschoolers is speech delayed, her confidence is increasing.
I made the game with this student in mind, and sure enough when it came to draw one side of the mouth- “I don’t know how to do that”. I responded, “you can do it”, and the student did draw that curve.
During the second portion of the mouth, I guided the hand when asked. Student appeared to gain confidence, even drawing on wall whiteboards independently, for the first time .
