As an early childhood educator, I found that students were losing their subitizing skills after Kindergarten and created a series of Roll and Color Games for students from preschool through 2nd grade.
During homework help, I noticed a first-grade student counting the number ten individually. He was not my preschool student. However, in kindergarten, he picked up subitizing easily.
